Czech British Chamber of Commerce 14th Annual General Meeting

Join us for the 14th CBCC Annual General Meeting at the Institute of Directors that will be combined with a UK launch of a book written by Professor Jan Marek.

Annual General Meeting
25 April 2024, 6 pm - 9 pm

The official part of the AGM will be followed by a UK launch of the book “Heart in Half” written by Professor Jan Marek, MD, PhD, FESC, Consultant Paediatric and Prenatal Cardiologist and Clinical Lead for Echocardiography, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
The launch aims to support Czech children and their families born with a heart condition. Organised in a group "Srdickari" ("Heartmakers", www.srdickari.cz), they run several programs and projects supporting those in need. Prof. Marek has been a patron of this group for a few years.
The event will be also attended by Barbara Nesvadbova, a renowned Czech artist, writer, philanthropist, and founder of a BE charity, www.becharity.cz who will read stories of two patients from the book.
