Death Announced of Jan Winkler, Czech Ambassador and CBCC Patron

The Czech British Chamber of Commerce was greatly saddened by news of the sudden death of Jan Winkler, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Patron of the Czech British Chamber of Commerce.
Our condolences go to his family and we will greatly miss his energy, drive and friendship. He saw the CBCC as a great opportunity for strengthening Czech/British bilateral business ties and worked tirelessly with the other member of the steering group to make it a reality.
He was the first patron on the CBCC, but according to the chamber’s constitution, all future Czech Ambassadors will be invited to hold this position.
The CBCC was originally conceived by HE the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom, Mr Jan Winkler, and the Czech Embassy have been instrumental in the creation of CBCC.
